TOP TEN 2011
Like in past years, the competition Top-Ten 2011 was again organized by KCHBO club (Club for BSD in Czech Republic). All CAC shows in our country was counted, when dog can get points for title only.
And same like in past years, I would like to say "thank You" to all owners of our "puppies", who shown them and helped us to get the results - like The best breeder of BSD, The best breeder of Tervuerens, 2nd best breeder of Groenendaels, The best adult BSD s.r. T.s. Ch. Unai Unique z Kovárny, The best veteran bitch - P.E.Int.Ch.Innah Adina z Kovárny.

Venus was mated on December, 9th in Germany by nice and clever dog Sw Int.Ch.Chuck von der Feldstiege, IPO3, Agility 3. We expect deep red puppies start of February, 2012. More here.

Finally we knew about teeth of rest of puppies from C litter and D litter : Cranberry Pancake, C Ya Soon, Cute Black Cannibal and Dancing Deucce have complete denture :-) So both litters are OK :-)
Chiwa got also all her teeth and scissor bite.

Very shocking news came from USA. Mr. Jiri Stanislav, owner of two dogs from us (Whisper Black and Babibella Black z Kovárny) died with his wife and both dogs in car-accident. Sincere condolences to their family...

We did DNA profile to next dogs: Venus Innah z Kovárny, Eclaire Black z Kovárny, Gwyneth Black z Kovárny and also to two veterans: 14 years old Lubanja's Vision and 11 years old Innah Adina z Kovárny. So we can have soonly some veryfied parentage also. I would like to continue and hope soonly will have DNA profile from all our dogs.

Puppies:
All puppies are in the new families, only Cocaine is waiting for his minimal age to entry Great Britain. I hope I will have more time now and will finish with this website - as a first I added site of C litter and D litter.
So it was good news. And now the sadly news. Owners of Fatal Love decided that they do not want to have any puppies. Fatal Love is really extremly beautifull female, who was only 2 times shown, even if she won (as only BSD from our republic) title of BEST IN SHOW at FMBB Mondiale for BSD. Beautifull, with nice social character and excellent health - it is tremendous damage that she cannot pass it to the next generation. Owners promised me possibility to use her in my breeding. After two years of postponement (not from my side), they decided she is too old for have first litter.
Hard to describe the feelings, that I have now - I cannot blame them, Fatal is their dog and she is living there like a queen, but for me it is extremly difficult to cope with it.
In addition, we somehow missed heat of Gwyneth (she has totally hidden heat) and so her litter is postponed for next year.
Puppies from Z Kovárny dogs bred at other breeders: Ch.Orchidea Black z Kovárny is pregnant with our s.Ch.Effect of Black z Kovárny, puppies will born at kennel Z JBonda. Int.Ch.Isabella de Alphaville Bohemia gave birth to 5 boys and 1 girls, on 19.08.2011, in the kennel z Ostrova Baber , sire is our s.r. s. T.s. Int.Ch.Daring-Devil du Crépuscule des Loups. Rhapsody in Black z Kovárny was mated on 14.08.2011 and is pregnant by french dog Clark du Moulin des Uranides, puppies will born in kennel v.Schloss Bourbon in Germany. Her sister River Black z Kovárny was mated on 23.08.2011 by Best of Black z Kovárny, puppies will born in kennel z Henrisaru. And as a last Eyes of Black Devil z Kovárny have his first "wife" - at kennel Tempranillo will born puppies sired by him and from Tempranillo Black Hot Mamma.

Puppies:
Hard to find some time for website with all those puppies. We still offer males Cocaine, Decent Demon and Dancing Deuce and female Divine Venus. Divine is offered only to owners with big interest about shows, sport and breeding and with possiblity to bring her back for a litter here. All puppies are microchipped, with pet-passport, 2 times vaccinated, many times dewormed, used for leash and collar, used for car and well socialized. They have had many different experiences - from visit of training camp, through vacation at friend's home, till visit of Prague's airport. More about puppies here.
Our s.Ch.Effect of Black z Kovárny had another mating - on 12nd August, he mated Ch.Orchidea Black z Kovárny. Puppies will be bred in Z JBonda kennel. Also s.Ch.Future Fame z Kovárny has confirmed pregnancy with our JCh.Elyos du Moulin du Verger. Puppies will born in Tyntom kennel.

Puppies:
We are extremly busy with our puppies. In both litters, we have one boy available. C litter is already vaccinated, microchipped and all puppies have tested eyes (clear) and are ready to go to new homes. D litter will be vaccinated & microchipped today, the eyes test is planned for Friday and since weekend they could go to new homes. Each puppy will be accompanied by written contract, equipment for the first days (collar, leash, favourite toys, food, stainless bowl, etc). All puppies will be several times dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, with pet-passport and checked eyes for hereditary eyes diseases. More about puppies HERE. Many new photos on Rajče.
Puppies from our Dýbo and Equinox z Kovárny born on 13rd July, 2011 at Slovakian kennel Starý Machnáč. There are 3 boys and 3 girls and let's guess who will be Malinois and who Tervueren :-) Our Dýbo has his new own site.

Puppies:
Puppies from Perfectly and Venus are growing very well. We have one red boy available in the litter C (Violet x Perfectly). He is deep red with big mask, testicles OK. And we have 2 boys and 1 girl available in the litter D (Digger x Venus) - all have extremly deep colour, big mask, boys have testicles OK. Puppies will be ready to new homes end of July. They will be many times dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, with Pet-Passport, checked eyes and equipment for first day in new family. Links to new photos on puppy page.
At other breeders there are lot of news also :-) In Slovakian kennel Martaran born puppies sired by z.Ch.Argent Brut z Kovárny - and it is big surprise! Both parents of the litter are carrying "a" gene for recessive blacks, so in the litter are fauve and grey/sable puppies, but also one black puppy! In the kennel Těchlovice born puppies from Int.Ch.Anthony du Domaine des Chodes, IPO3, A3 and Ch.Princess Vega z Kovárny. Again at Slovakia, this time at kennel of Mrs.Gallová, born puppies sired by our s.Ch.Effect of Black z Kovárny, while dam is Ch.Madison z Kovárny. In the litter from two black dogs they are black, red and grey/sable puppies. Our Daring-Devil mated another female - this time beautifull Ch.Isabella de Alphaville Bohemia , owned by kennel Z Ostrova Baber. Unfortunately Padmé, who was pregnant by Daring-Devil had to go for c-section and both puppies died :-(

This time I again missed an update. For the last three weeks I was not almost at home - I shown in Slovakia, judged at Specialties in Italy and in Finland and spend several days at FMBB World Championship in Belgium. Rest of time I rather devoted to my dogs, my family and my work, then to update my site. This is to apologize to all who were impatiently waiting  . Venus honestly waited for my return from Italy and gave birth to 4 red boys and 3 red girls on Tuesday, May 31st. All Tervuerens are veeeery red with big mask! Also Kuky (called now Samson) sucesfully arrived in Florida. I hope his new family enjoy this little devil!
Our Daring-Devil will become father again - as we advised last time he mated P.E.Int.Ch.Padmé Bohemia Alké and she is pregnant. Puppies will born in kennel Bohemia Alké. And another - very interesting combination was done - Devil mated tervueren female Equinox z Kovárny and puppies, Malinois as well as Tervuerens will born in kennel Starý Machnáč. Very interesting combination with lot of new blood for both varieties!

For us, it is most valuable title in "Belgian world". You have to win CAC at Nationale d'Elevage, most prestigious and very big show for BSD or Championaat de France, then at Specialty and last at International show. CAC is given only one for all males and one for all females (in one breed), champion class cannot compete about CAC. Plus dog need to have HD A or HD B and character test with shooting and defence abilities - TAN Championaat. Necessity of CAC from Nationale d'Elevage or Championaat de France mean, that this most important CAC could be win by only two males and two females per year. And You need to fill all condition in time limit of 2 years.
If my information are correct, Daring-Devil is first BSD coming from Mid & East Europe who won this title! We are soo grateful to Dýbo's breeder Philippe Suter, Dýbo's "mamma" Martine Leys and all judges as well as friends who believed and believe in us!

Our B litter has own site! Three puppies are already in new homes and next two will go in few days. We are very happy with this litter and puppies' owners :-)
Venus was on ultrasound, end of April, and she is pregnant. Now it is clearly visible - she has sooo big belly!

Puppies:
Puppies out of Shayo and Mimi have 5 weeks already. They are beautifull bears with lot of coat and nice characters. All have scissor bites and all males have fully descend testicles. Photos from 4 weeks and 4,5 weeks.
Phenna (s.Ch.Perfectly Unique) was checked by ultrasound and is pregnant. We expect black, red and maybe sable puppies too. Venus will go for her test in few days.
Vagabond Black z Kovárny sired another litter in Danemark - with very interesting female Ch.Lubanja's Bunny Blue. For more info take a look at website of breeder - Team-Ami. Puppies:
Puppies from Mimina and Shayo are doing very well. All have almost 3x bigger weight, then at the day of birth. All puppies are reserved. New photos here.
During our trip to France we mated Venus by beautifull young social boy Digger and also Perfectly by classic type Groenendael Violet. This combination is free of most used European blood of today, so black puppies will be very interesting for breeders. Some black puppies are already spoken for - first day after publishing our combination. More about both litters here.
Last day of March, 2 boys and 2 girls born in Estonian kennel Black Vortex, sired by our almost 11 years old Ross Black. Also our 13,5 years old daddy Majčo (Lubanja's Vision) had rendezvous, we hope it worked and there will be some puppies in kennel Juli Agartha.
Unfortunately, Choran's situation is not better, atrophy proceed and according observation of several reproduction experts in our country and abroad, Choran was most likely poisoned with a substance affected spermiogenesis. It's hard to believe, that such people are among us...

Unfortunately, during judgement, representatives of HJBK club did not allow our dogs to compete for title of Club Winner (Best male / Best female), they told, that by the rules we cannot compete, because we are not member of HJBK. This rule was not told to anybody in advance and was never in Hungary years before, so we feel it as unfair.
All our dogs did Hungarian character test with result "Excellent" in each part (sociability, aport-retrieve, shooting and defence) and afternoon got T.s. selection title

Choran:
This year do not continue well... We found testicular atrophy at Choran. Despite all the tests and examinations, and the efforts of veterinarians, we could not figure out, why this situation occured, whether it is reversible or irreversible (prognosis are rather very bad, unfortunately) and even we could not map out what happened with Choran before his arrival to us. We are depressed. Nine breeders all about the world contacted us in past weeks because of future mating - and now all plans are destroyed. It is still question, if he will be able to return to show rings - it depend if we will be able to stop or reverse atrophy. His future as a stud dog is in every way very unsure. Life is so unfair, preparing such incidents to great dogs, which Choran surely is...

P.E. Int.Ch. FAY BLACK z Kovárny
We had to say goodbye to Ťapka at Tuesday, 8th February, 2011. Since 2007, Ťapka battling with cancer of lymph nodes, certainly survived much longer, then anyone expected, but in recent days, her condition rapidly worsened (lost weight up to 14kg) and joined with motoric problems, apparently due to stroke.
Ťapinka died at home, in the evening on my arms.
She was my crazy aporter....

First of all, our news - Mimina (Eclaire) is pregnant. We expect puppies in the March. And I decided about male for Venus - more here.

Puppies:
Zephyr and Amber went to their new home. I am happy I will see them often. We do not have any puppies for sale.
Last Sunday, we visited puppies from kennel Kwanah, sired by our Daring-Devil. Puppies are growing in Prague at family of Míla Beranová (right - photo of the female from this litter). There are still some available malinois boys and malinois girls in this beautifull litter. More information here.
Our Mimino was mated. After long considering of all plus and minus I choosed dog from my own breeding - Once More Black z Kovárny. If all will goes well, we will wellcome puppies mid of March.

TOP-TEN
Club KCHBO published results of TOP-TEN competition of 2010 year. All titles from CAC shows in Czech Republic are pointed and then is made rank-order. I am happy, that dogs bred by us again excelled! We won category of young Groenendael females (Vaori), veteran Groenendael females (Jakcie), in adult Groenendael females we got 2nd and 3rd place (Exclusive, Really). At Malinoises, our Daring-Devvl won adult males, even he was shown mostly abroad (titles from abroad are not counted in). At Tervuerens we won adult male category (Saphir), young females (Ulkaine) and veteran females (Innah), at adult females we had Igneous on 2nd place. Ulkaine finally won also title of most succesfull young BSD through varieties and sexes! In total, our kennel got 2nd place at Groenendaels, 1st place at Tervuerens and Best breeder through varieties. Our studs and brood bitches did also well - more results here.

Since 01.01.2011 there is change in condition to become Champion CZ and so now You can get this title also without IPO/ZVV exam. You need more CAC (5x) then. So quite lot of our dogs and dogs bred by us fulfilled conditions now and have title of Champion CZ.
In first January's week we got diplomas for: Ch.Sofia de la Foret de Bizy, P.E.Int.Ch.Innah Adina z Kovárny, s.r. T.s.s. Int.Ch. Unique Eleanor z Kovárny, s.Int.Ch. Igneous Innah z Kovárny and Lutin z Kovárny. In next weeks we will send other requests.
Our Vaori Waikiki Black z Kovárny became Junior Champion SK too. She fulfilled conditions at November 2009.
